| Comments: They completed a new site from scratch with a complex search function, database with multiple options depending on the level you signed up on, with an admin backend, a seperate user backend as well as an integrated credit card payment page. They conduct their business in a very professional manner. The programmers were up to speed and are capable of creating anything you want. Phpmaestro always had updates and revisions done faster than I could keep up. Communication was easy, frequent and fast, english was perfect. I would recommend giving them very detailed notes on what you want in the site and any examples you have. Phpmaestro was great to work with, they stand behind what they do and I had complete trust in giving them any confidential info that was needed for development. I highly recommend them to everyone and will absolutely be using them again. Great work!! |

| Comments: phpMaestro, who are based in India, do a good job and I would recommend them, but with a couple of sensible suggestions for buyers. If you want a complete site design you should provide very clear flow charts for the site you want designed. You should also provide, where possible, desired page layouts in the form of .gif images or point to a site design on the web that you like - it is hard to put your vision into someone else's head via email messages alone. The language difference might also throw up some corrections, but this is nothing compared to the excellent coding that they do.
The backup and service from phpMaestro throughout our site design has been excellent and I cannot fault them. It took longer to complete than originally anticipated, but this is normal when modifications are required. They did not increase the price despite the difficulties that we placed in their way and have been very helpful throughout. |

2) provided web site for me to test,
3) we discussed progress every few days,
4) they stayed with the job even though they said they went over their budget &
5) the system is about 95% done, but I prefer to finish it with someone else.
The Bad – 1) They did not seem to grasp my specifications, I constantly had to refer them back to the bid I posted. Many times I had to explain it 2 to 4 times.
2) I expected them to create “mock-up” screens before coding, but they typically jumped straight to the live website.
3) English, grammar, and spelling had much to be desired.
4) They didn’t want to use my database design and never showed me their database design. I think they could have saved a lot of programming time by getting the database right first. I got the database at the end of the project,
with some table names misspelled. They also sent me a config file, then I asked them questions about it, they said it wasn't used. |
