My program will have: 1.It will read the ini file located where you want; 2. take the name of the program, and monitor all the time the presence of this program... 3.if not present , reboot or shutdown or send a meesage to user or every thing else that you want 4.the reboot process can be delayed or in a presence of a message to the user of the pc... 5.automatic start with windows 6. Can be hidden when starting with windows and only a secret keybord combination like "Ctrl+Alt+D" will make it my program appear. Do you accept DOS scripting ? Combining DOS and VB wouldn't be the prettiest user-friendly interface, but it could be done easier than writing the whole thing in VB.

Dear friend, I'm professional programmer. Have used Delphi 3 years. I am good at program on Windows. This project(Monitor process) not difficult, but so not easy. That is decided by concrete issue, for example, OS edition, Monitor process is GUI? Console Application? Inject other process(Trojan program usual use this way to hide itself)? By the way, Monitor process must be use little Memory and CPU resources. I believe i can do it well.
