Description: I am using Joomla 1.5 in combination with the vemod news mailer.
I do run into two problems:

1) when a new user registers, he secondly has to login and thirdly subscribe to the newsletter
2) I would like to send people a link via email. If they click this link they become both registered at the site as well as subscribed to the newsletter. Registration can be done using their email-address both for the username as well as for their name.

I would like to have solved both. The standard modules of joomla and vemod news mailer apply.
